Richard, and my cat, Shadow. We
have three sons: John, Harry, and
Alex. John lives in Atlanta, and Harry
and Alex are students at the University
of Alabama. Richard enjoys golfing,
fishing, watercolor painting, and going
to the lake.
Shadow enjoys sitting in the lap of
whoever will let him. He likes to lie in
sunshine and dream of his younger
days as a great hunter. Shadow sits at
the family table when we eat and looks
wistfully at our food. If he doesn't like
what we offer him, he turns his back on
us and sulks for a while. He soon
forgets he's mad at us, though, and
resumes his position on the back of
the sofa while I knit, or on the back of
my chair while I write.
In addition to writing, I enjoy playing
violin and piano, gardening, reading,
and making pottery. I am an exercise
fanatic, and I love nature. Mostly, I
love God and my family. My friends
are extremely important to me, also,
and I enjoy spending time with them.
